Working with a gloved hand inside the cheek, Khush reaches the masseter, buccinator and the deep muscles around the jaw that outside massage simply can't get to. What happens in the session
A short check-in on how your jaw feels. Cleanse and warm oil. Deep external sculpting of the neck, jaw and cheeks, then lymphatic drainage. The intra-oral work, with a fresh glove, side by side, a few minutes each. We finish with lifting strokes, and Cryo Sculpting if you've added it.
What you'll feel and see after
Immediately: a lighter jaw, a looser mouth, cheekbones that catch the light, a sharper jawline. Most clients say the relief is the surprise. Results build with each session, so a course of three to six, spaced two to three weeks apart, gives the most lasting change.
Simple, for the rest of the day.
- Drink plenty of water to help the lymphatic drainage do its work.
- Skip heavy make-up, saunas and intense exercise for the rest of the day.
- Some mild tenderness in the jaw muscles for a day is normal, much like after a good workout.
- Keep the lift going at home: three minutes of jaw release and a lymph flush each morning. Ask Khush for your routine, or pair it with face yoga.
- Not suitable within two weeks of injectables, after recent dental surgery, or with active cold sores or mouth ulcers. Tell us at booking.
First-timer questions.
Is the intra-oral part hygienic?
Yes. Khush wears a fresh, single-use medical-grade nitrile glove for the intra-oral work, changes it between sides, and sanitises before and after. You are welcome to rinse with mouthwash before we start. The studio is a single-practitioner room, so nothing is shared between clients.
Does it hurt?
It shouldn't. You'll feel firm, specific pressure, and some spots in the masseter can feel tender in the way a good deep-tissue massage does, but you are in control. Tell Khush and the pressure changes immediately. Most clients fall into a deeply relaxed state within minutes.
What does the intra-oral work actually feel like?
Unusual for about ten seconds, then surprisingly relaxing. A gloved finger rests inside your cheek while the other hand works the same muscle from outside, with slow, steady pressure. Each side takes only a few minutes. Many clients describe the moment the jaw "lets go" as the best part of the session.
How many sessions do I need?
You'll see and feel a difference after one. For lasting change in definition and jaw tension, a course of three to six sessions, two to three weeks apart, with face yoga at home in between, works best. Khush will map this out in your consultation.
Can I have it after Botox or fillers?
Yes, with timing. Please wait at least two weeks after injectables, and let Khush know which areas were treated so she can work around them.
Will it help my jaw clenching and headaches?
Many clients find the treatment helps relieve jaw tightness and eases tension-type headaches linked to clenching and grinding. It is a relaxation and release treatment, not a medical one; if you have a diagnosed jaw condition, keep working with your dentist or doctor alongside.
